Thursday 9th June 1.15-1.45pm

We will begin the conversation with a funny MUMLIFE meme and see where the conversation takes us. Topics covered will include; baby sleep, weaning & what to cook, how to juggle life and a little one, there is no such thing as a 'perfect' mum and much more... The session is all about you smiling and not feeling alone. Mums are stronger together, so let's all support each other!
I also offer 1:1 sessions to support mums with their questions around weaning, baby sleep, learning development, potty training, behaviour and much more... Send me a message if you would like more information, I would love to support you on your journey as a mother.

Should you intervene in your toddlerâs play? Watch thisâŚYour little one will often have purpose behind their play and what they are doing even when it isnât what the specific toy is meant for. Open ended tasks often encourage the best learning and develops their thinking skills.
TRY THESE STEPS:
âď¸ Allow them time to explore in the ways they choose to with their toys.
âď¸ If they are engrossed in play and not looking up, donât interrupt or talk to themâŚgive them thinking time as this is when their brain is processing and forming connections.
âď¸ If they look at you, it may be that they want you to join inâŚso join in and talk about what you are playing with.
âď¸ Begin to show them different ways to play with the toy.
âď¸ They may then choose to copy you or find a new way of playing with it.
âď¸ Take their lead and copy what they are doing, talking about what you are doing to build language and conversation skills.
