Remote micro-lessons and learning games!

Is there light at the end of the tunnel?
It certainly feels like it. And if you lead a business or team here are FOUR THINGS YOU CAN DO to prepare for a new future where remote working is the norm;
1) Tell your people to let go of the idea of fixed working hours, they just need to be *available* and *productive* - customers and collaborators won't care which exact hours are worked as long as they can get an answer relatively quickly and the work is delivered on time
2) Encourage people to use video calls to *work together* and not just 'meet together'. Watch children do their homework and you’ll learn a thing or two.
3) Set teams *targets* and not work instructions - something you should have already been doing - then measure performance against how well a target has been met considering all challenges faced along the way.
4) Finally, *combine, develop & mobilise* the relevant parts (and/or processes) of your HR/IT/H&S teams so support teams can visit remote working locations and deliver holistic, healthy, bespoke remote working solutions to your people
