β½π A Fantastic Day of Sport, Community and Celebration! π
What an incredible day at the Exeter Kerala Community Sports Day!
Inclusive Exeter was proud to support the Exetermalayalee Ekc in delivering this fantastic event, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate sport, friendship and community spirit.
We were honoured to welcome Councillor Lucy Haigh, Deputy Lord Mayor of Exeter, who officially opened the event with a warm and inspiring welcome speech. Throughout the day, people from diverse communities came together to enjoy exciting sporting activities, family fun, a delicious BBQ and opportunities to build new friendships.
The celebrations concluded with a wonderful awards ceremony, where Councillor Lucy Haigh presented trophies and medals to the deserving winners, recognising their enthusiasm, teamwork and sporting achievements.
A huge thank you to the Exeter Kerala Community, all the volunteers, participants, supporters and everyone who helped make the day such a memorable success.
This event was made possible thanks to , whose support enables Inclusive Exeter to work alongside local communities to create opportunities that bring people together, celebrate diversity and strengthen community connections.
Together, we are building a more connected, welcoming and inclusive Exeter.

π Today marks the beginning of our REAL Life in the UK workshop series!
This morning we welcomed participants to our first session, βConnection, Confidence and Belonging,β where people from diverse backgrounds came together to build confidence, make new connections, and begin their journey of learning and supporting one another.
At Inclusive Exeter, we believe that everyone deserves to feel connected, valued, and empowered to thrive in their community. Over the coming weeks, participants will explore communication skills, self-confidence, understanding their rights, and how to use their voice in everyday life.
A huge thank you to our trainers, volunteers, and everyone who joined us today. We look forward to seeing this wonderful group grow in confidence throughout the programme.
