Apologies for the conspicuous lack of posts recently… like most of you, judging from your posts/conversations, it’s just been one of those months/seasons/years when I seem to have been constantly on the go but seeing only a fraction of the people I actually want to spend time with! So it was beyond lovely to make it to a networking ‘jelly’ today on the quay, with the always-daunting task of letting everyone know I’m available for work. Then realising it’s nothing to be worried about and why can’t I be better at self-promotion when I’m more than happy to do it for friends and clients!?

So good to chat with some familiar faces like after so long and chat to .writes with an immediate sense that we’d known each other in another life… don’t you love those inexplicable connections?

The cat mirroring my wistful thoughts, wanting to be outside feeling the sun on my face... the prosaic reality is another morning trying to instil some positivity into my poor boys stuck indoors getting more and more anxious about missing school. But it’s a beautiful day - and it’s Friday! Will go out for a run at some point to log some more 🏃‍♀️👟 for the 100 miles I’m doing in Feb for . I’m NOT a natural runner and feel daunted by such a big target but it’s a privilege to support such a brilliant cause, knowing loads of other women are feeling the same!
