Jo was asked to talk to the MSc Sports Medicine students at today about her sports physio career to date. She was alongside two other sports doctors with so many parallels in experiences and advice for those starting on their sports medicine despite working in different sports. Reflecting on what she has done and how that impacts how she works with her current patients has been a great!

Day 2: CSP Physiotherapy conference completed. Inspiring day of thinking big- how to influence change in people lives beyond the treatment room, listening to inspiring people with lived experience of Parkinson’s, vestibular problems and the impact of physiotherapy and physical activity on their lives . Screening for inflammatory back pain, barriers to exercise…. Brain full!

Day 1 complete. Thought provoking lectures and workshops. Hypermobility syndrome, exercise prescription, health equalities, public health, physical activity promotion, managing patients with multiple conditions….

Summer League Team Champions 2025

Wow! It was quite some final winning by one game in the last game of the night! What a brilliant team (including the reserves covering injuries and holidays and pulling off brilliant results last night especially for us). The best part by a million miles has been being welcomed into the D&E family, making friends and memories all while keeping active. Perfect 🤩
