Broadclyst Fun Day

It's just 1 more day until the big day and a great time to plan for the weather.

Now we all know how hot it has been this last week and Saturday looks to be much the same, along with the possibility of rain also (it wouldn't be British else...!). With this in mind, sun hats, sun lotion, wellies, brollies and a rain mac will all be advisable (the team shall be just sticking with sun cream and hats!).

We will have a water station available all day, to help you stay hydrated. Please bring a reusable bottle and remember to keep it topped up!

Next to introduce themselves are , who are hosting a brilliant pop‑up bike repair stall at this year’s Fun Day.

Bring along your crocked or wobbly bike and their team will help get it back into shape. They’ll also have free games and prizes for all the family - a fun way to learn more about looking after our environment and staying active.

A fantastic community addition to the day, so make sure you pop by and say "Hi".

Next to introduce themselves is Plankandpine joining the event with a wonderful selection of handmade wooden creations and a live lathe demonstration.

At their stall you’ll find beautifully crafted woodwork pieces, unique gifts and home décor and the chance to watch raw timber being transformed through traditional woodturning skills. They’re always happy to chat, answer questions and share their passion for the craft.

Whether you’re curious about woodworking, looking for something handmade or keen to see a lathe in action, be sure to stop by and say hello.

It's just 2 days until the big day and we're excited for the 'Grand Raffle' and two auctions that will be taking place on the day. There will be a dedicated raffle tent for you to pop by to pick up your tickets on the day.

We will be auctioning a fit20 Exeter 3 month free membership AND anEMS Waste Services Ltd 6 yard skip for 2 weeks. Yes you read that right, *an actual skip!*

Both of these amazing items are worth over £300!

These items will be auctioned off after the raffle closes so make sure to stick around until the end the day!
