A medley of cottages. I love to build a back story with the houses I make; I like to think these are fisherman’s cottages, maybe a hundred or so years ago; housing families (probably in Cornwall) who lived quiet lives with the odd village drama thrown in for interest and gossip over a cuppa. They are currently in the kiln firing…fingers crossed they survive 😊

Hello! Those who have been following my stories know that I’ve spent the past week working on a larger textured piece. Here it is! Waiting to dry, which I think will take roughly another week before it’s ready for the kiln. I’m going to glaze it in a white glaze which will (hopefully) break over the textured areas, revealing the warm ceramic underneath ☺️
