We really enjoyed our session with Andrea from Walrus Writing . It really got us thinking and was paced in a way that prevented anyone from overthinking or getting bored! Adults were encouraged to get creative as well as children. We hope Andrea will come back and do another session for us in the autumn.

Our Spark Lab LEGO robot coding sessions have come to an end for this term. The course leader, Tim from Learn Devon has sent through these low budget and free resources for anyone who would like to continue learning about coding.

Explore your inner story teller with this introduction to creative writing. Participants will have the opportunity to:

- Explore feelings and build confidence
- Follow passions and trust their ideas
- Share stories and engage with community
- Work on imagination, problem solving and focus
- Develop literacy, planning and critical thinking
- Relax, reflect and build resilience

Andrea's background as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and senior leader in Health and Social Care sits alongside her lifelong love of books and creative expression. Today, she brings these threads together in guided writing workshops where families can explore stories, spark imagination and build confidence side by side.
