We were delighted to hand over this brand-new Volvo EC18E to H & L Groundworks in Dorset last week.

This delivery marks an exciting milestone for the team at H & L, as it is the first machine they have purchased outright after previously relying on hired equipment. We are incredibly grateful that, when the time came to invest in their own excavator, they chose the Volvo EC18E.

Having operated Volvo machines in the past, H & L already knew the quality, reliability and performance that the Volvo range offers. The EC18E is a compact yet powerful machine, designed to deliver outstanding productivity, operator comfort and fuel efficiency, making it an excellent addition to their growing fleet.

Laura's visit to Hillhead 2026

Great to visit Hillhead 2026 last week and catch up with so many familiar faces across the construction, quarrying, demolition, and recycling industries.

A real highlight was spending time with the team at OKB Attachments, where I had the chance to see their impressive range of attachments and learn more about the latest developments in their product portfolio.

The new Tree Shear was a standout for me. Designed for forestry, vegetation management, land clearance, and site preparation, it attracted plenty of interest and is a great addition to the OKB range.

Events like Hillhead are a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry colleagues, discover new innovations, and share ideas that help move our sector forward.
