We're really sad to announce that after 6 years, PearShaped Music Magazine has come to a close.

Despite consistent reader engagement, the society did not receive enough committee applications to run again next year. As a result, PearShaped will become a 'dormant' Guild Society.

We'd like to thank every single one of you who have contributed/engaged/liked/commented/played for us over the years. It's been an incredible journey and we've enjoyed every moment.

PearShaped went from an idea hashed out in the smoking area of The Rusty Bike to a well-established magazine hosting its own successful live events, interviewing global artists, launching yearly print annuals and publishing high quality music reviews. We wanted to prove that Exeter has a vibrant and growing music scene, and we think the past 6 years has shown exactly that. We'll forever be proud of everything we've produced, and hope you are too.

Regrettably, we have made the decision to cancel the AGM as there are not enough applicants to fill the minimum number of positions to keep the society running.

There will now be elections at some point next term instead. Apologies to those who have written manifestos and were preparing to run, we encourage you to hold on to them and put yourselves forward next term instead.

Hope to still see you all at the BotB final supporting our friends in Campus Bands, more details about elections will follow. Thank you for your understanding.
