Exeter District Scouts

The grand opening of the new climbing wall at our Scout HQ in Exeter, made possible by a generous donation from Exeter Property Ball. The climbing wall will be used by our youth members aged 4 (Squirrels) to 11 (Scouts) enabling them to learn team building and gain confidence.

Scouts aged between 14 and 17 now have the option to join newly established Sea Scout and Air Scout Explorer Units, in addition to the existing land-based group.

Together, these additions bring the total number of Explorer Scouts in Exeter to over 100, with 40 young people already enrolled in the new units.

Richard Ball, district Lead Volunteer for 14 to 24-year-olds in Exeter, said: “We are really proud of the new units opening and expanding our offering of Scouting to young people across the city.
