Last night it was as sunny indoors as it's been outdoors as we kicked off our Summer exhibition, celebrating all the colours and creativity that the season brings, thanks to the amazing work of artists all across the UK.

Family Art Workshop at Open Gallery CIC

We enjoyed a lovely session run by Lynne Dobson at the gallery last Saturday for our Family Art workshop, part of the Art for Wellbeing & Community Inclusion series. It was a creative, relaxed afternoon filled with conversation and making as participants explored acrylic painting, colour, and simple techniques to create their own artworks in a welcoming space.

Our Art for Wellbeing & Community Inclusion Workshops run from 20 June to 8 August 2026, every Saturday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. These creative workshops are open to all abilities and are designed to help people relax, connect, and enjoy making art together.
