I think this is my favourite clip from the private session we recorded. Chris giving a lesson on how to defend then disarm against the staff and then Mark absolutely owning it!

We're still on that private session here, and they guys are practicing avoidance of a downward strike.

Eddy shows us how Yanagi train their arms to be stronger and to be able to use either side for sword strikes. I remember doing this years ago, those things are REALLY heavy! They are solid hardwood. Meanwhile in the background Mark is practicing footwork with strikes.
