I teach First Aid courses in Harrogate the way I do for one simple reason: People learn better when they feel safe.

No pressure.
No jargon.
No being put on the spot.

Just clear, calm, practical learning - the kind that helps you walk away thinking,
“I actually feel confident now.”

That confidence is what stays with you.
It’s what helps you step forward instead of freeze.
And it’s what really matters if something unexpected ever happens.

That’s why my training looks the way it does - friendly, relaxed, and very human.

If you’ve ever been nervous about booking a First Aid course, you’re exactly the kind of person I love teaching ❤️

Our pets are part of the family 🐾

And just like children, they don’t come with instructions - but accidents can still happen when we least expect them.
A cut paw.
A sudden limp.
Choking.
Or something they really shouldn’t have eaten.

Pet First Aid isn’t about panic. It’s about knowing what to do in those first few moments - calmly, confidently, and safely - until you can get veterinary help if needed.

My Pet First Aid courses are practical, relaxed and designed for real life. You’ll practise skills, ask questions, and leave feeling far more confident caring for your furry family members.

Small group sessions run regularly in Harrogate - and they’re suitable for pet owners, dog walkers, groomers and anyone who wants to feel prepared.

Drop me a message if you’d like to know the next dates 🐶💛

If something unexpected happened tomorrow…
A faint.
A fall.
Someone suddenly struggling to breathe.

Would you know what to do? And just as importantly - would you feel calm enough to do it?

Most emergencies don’t look dramatic. They happen in normal places, on normal days - at work, at home, on a walk, in a café.

Emergency First Aid training isn’t about expecting the worst. It’s about carrying a quiet, steady confidence into everyday life.

My courses in Harrogate are practical, relaxed and completely jargon-free - and they give you skills that stay with you long after the day is over.

If learning First Aid has been on your “I really should do that…” list - this is your gentle January nudge.

Drop me a message and we can work out which date is most suitable for you. ❤️

Back to normal routines… and back to everyday dog walks 🐾❄️

After Christmas, many of us settle into quieter rhythms - longer walks, fresh air, and getting outside again.

But winter walks can bring a few extra challenges too.

A few gentle reminders when it’s cold or icy:
❄️ Watch for slippery paths and frozen puddles
🧂 Wipe paws after walks to remove salt or grit
🧊 Be careful near icy ponds or streams
🐕 Keep an eye out for limping, cuts or sore pads

Most pet emergencies don’t happen in dramatic moments. They happen on normal days, during normal walks.

Pet First Aid isn’t about panic - it’s about feeling calm and prepared when something unexpected happens. Knowing how to respond, when to act, and when to call the vet can make all the difference.

If you’d like to feel confident caring for your furry family members, my Pet First Aid courses run in small, relaxed groups in Harrogate. Drop me a message for upcoming dates 🐶💛
