That time of year again!

This year has by far been the toughest of our life so far, financially, physically, and mentally. The nightmare it has been, i don't think you could make it up.

But out of this darkest, a light that at times we didn't think could ever happen.

You little girl have come to us in a time of life when we really needed you, when times are now hard you have lifted me up and given me that reason.

I love you Amy you have been through this journey and suffered more than anyone will ever know, from falling pregnant and losing that small little life. To life saving surgery, to finally being a mumma to be you are my inspiration and all I'll ever need.

F**k you 2022 but also thank you for showing me on strong I am, how I won't give up, how I am proud of myself.

I'm not sure what 2023 will hold for me but long as I have my girls it's all that matters to me.

Running a business is really hard.
What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore. You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.
Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there just is no work life balance when starting a new business.

You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a husband or a wife, family support, friend...

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5-10 years. It takes its toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially this past 2 years. Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives. Be kind, be patient.
