Flyball Fever

🖤💚🤍 Voltaire has made his open debut last Saturday at Market Harborough. As a puppy he broke his leg in the garden and had surgery and had months of rest with no off lead action for 7 months.

A dog that missed exercise and general socialisation of being free in the fields. I was lucky enough to bring him into my workplace where he could socialise and interact with the children that I taught at the time. They walked him, helped to feed him and understood the importance and responsibility of looking after a loved pet and member of the family.

In recent months he has quickly put all of the parts of the jigsaw puzzle together and has turned over a new leaf so to speak.

After a lot of head to head work and support from the club when I just wanted to give up, Voltaire made his debut open on Saturday. He was happy, content and wanted to just have a go. That’s what is most important.

Voltaire has worked hard in training and had only competed in one PC singles in January before being in a team. He was meant to just gain experience in warm ups but the team encouraged me to just give him a go.
