Year 8 Students go to university!

On Friday 3rd July 2026, 30, Year 8 students spent a day at the University of Chichester. The students were involved in many activities ranging from course selection, skills and qualities required for success at university and entrepreneurship qualities via a ‘dragons’ den’ sales pitch.

The Year 8 Students continually showed the ICC THRIVE Values through all activities and tasks, and students had a real experience of a higher educational institution.

Our students enjoyed lunch beneath a tree that is said to have been planted by Florence Nightingale. Whether fact or legend, it made for a memorable moment and a wonderful connection to the past.

We are currently inviting applications for the role of Parent Governor on our local governing committee. If you have a child at ICC or a child who will soon be joining ICC, and would like to help shape the school's strategic direction, we encourage you to consider putting yourself forward.

Uniform expectations for the week beginning Monday 6th July through to Friday 10th July.

During this week, students may wear their PE/Dance kit and trainers to school each day.
