● Open to UK and residents aged 18 years or over. The winner must be able to attend the activity course on the prize date above and comply with all normal participation requirements
● Participants under 18 are allowed to join the course, but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or meet normal booking requirements

What a night at the Cumbria Tourism Awards last night!

Being recognised as a finalist for accessible and inclusive tourism is something we're really grateful for and we know that our incredible team are all winners 💙

While we didn't take home the top award this time, we're genuinely proud to have been a finalist alongside such an incredible organisations. Huge congratulations to the winner, Theatre by the Lake - you've absolutely earned it!

A big shout-out as well to our fellow finalist Lakes For All. It was a pleasure to be in such great company and learn more about the wonderfully accessible space you've created.

Thanks to everyone who helped us reach the final - we couldn't have done it without you 💪

This week the team were let loose trying one of our away day challenges, Boats - Raft and Race, and it's safe to say we had a blast!

In teams we had to navigate to find all the pieces in the woods to make our rafts, completing challenges in between. We then assembled our rafts using picture clues as quickly as possible before racing out onto the water to claim a flag from a buoy. The winning team planted it back on shore first but it was a close contest!

We recovered with a bring and share lunch to celebrate a special team members milestone birthday (shoutout to Jo!) and cake, of course.

We have a range of away day challenges to choose from which are the perfect escape from the office to spend time building relationships and having fun. Our away days don't require anyone to have a disability but they are inclusive for all abilities.
