I was called out on Friday to a front door that wouldn't open.

Not only had the multi point lock fail, but the handle hsd failed and the Euro lock was seized too!

What started this problem was a 5 minute job. The top hinge had dropped causing the lock not to close correctly. Over time and through forcing the lock to close the mechanism failed and the handle snapped and the lock siezed.

I come across this problem so much and it all can be avoided most of the time

Well I managed to open the door and change the gearbox, lock and handles for the customer however, it could have been avoided by calling me out sooner to adjust the hinges.
