‼️Change to bus stops and cycle ways on the A660
🚐 After feedback from several residents (and from me) about the dangers of having people stepping directly off buses into the cycle lane, the Highways Team have now decided to add a small ‘landing area’ for bus passengers.
🚲 They will also add a small ramp on the approach to alert cyclists to the bus stop.
✅ These amendments will be delivered as part of the contractor’s programme before the A660 scheme is completed.
🙏 Thank you to residents for taking the time to provide feedback on this. It shows that feedback can lead to change.
⁉️And yes, I’m aware that this bus stop says Kepstorn Road when it should say Cumberland Road. I’ve fed that back to West Yorkshire Metro.
