You've probably seen Women's Training Club popping up on my page recently... π
The women squatting weights they never thought they'd lift and the sweaty finishers they all pretend to hate π
But more importantly.. The confidence, progress and community π₯°
If you've looked at any of it and thought "I'd love to do something like that..." well good bloody news because I'm running a free taster session!
Women's Training Club isn't like a bootcamp or just turning up to random workouts. And it's definitely not being shouted at while someone blasts Pitbull through a speaker (well maybe sometimes π€ͺ)
It's small group coaching for women who want to get fitter and stronger, train properly and actually enjoy coming to the gym.
There is no experience required or any expectation that you're already fit. And you definitely don't need to know what you're doing.
That's my job π₯°
The taster is just a chance to come along, meet some lovely women and see what it's all about.

DEFICIT DIARIES: WEEK 5/6 β€οΈ Week 5 is done!
The scales haven't moved this week, but considering I disappeared to a spa for two days, didn't track a thing and my step count took an absolute nosedive, I'll happily take it π
It's been a week to remind me why I'm *so* against the all or nothing approach. A few years ago I'd have gone away, eaten the food, enjoyed the prosecco then spent the whole weekend worrying about the damage I'd done π This time I just... enjoyed it.
I had the best couple of days with my mum, sister and sister-in-law. We sat in a hot tub overlooking the countryside, ate some delicious food, got lovingly harassed by dogs at breakfast and simply had a wonderful time.
Then I came home, carried on as normal and cracked on with the habits I know work.
Training has been solid too, although my coach has apparently declared war on my legs and decided that every lift now needs a painfully slow eccentric attached to it π My legs are questioning our relationship and yesterday's squats were genuinely offensive π€’
One of my favourite moments this week was having my niece, Poppy, come along to Women's Training Club. She made herself right at home, took over the assault bike and was immediately more popular than me. Fair enough, I guess.
So whilst the scales haven't given me anything exciting to report, I still feel really positive about the week.
I've trained well, eaten well (most of the time), had some wonderful family time and made memories that are worth far more than a slightly lower weigh-in π₯°
Sooo one week left. Let's see what happens β€οΈ
