WISE inspires girls and women to study and build careers in science, technology, engineering and manufacturing (STEM)

16/09/2025

It’s National Inclusion Week, and we’re proud to be part of the movement for more inclusive workplaces for women in STEM. ✨

At WISE, we believe that inclusion means more than a seat at the table. It’s about:

-representation that drives innovation
-equity that supports every woman’s journey
-a culture where everyone can thrive

This week, we’re spotlighting how inclusion really works and what YOU can do to make a difference.

Follow along, join the conversation, and let’s build a more inclusive future together.

Calling all women apprentices in STEM! 📢

In collaboration with UWE Bristol, we are creating a My Skills My Life role model booklet to celebrate women who’ve completed or are currently undertaking STEM apprenticeships. 🌟

This open resource will help inspire young people, challenge stereotypes, and showcase the many pathways into STEM careers.

The booklet will launch at our one-day event: STEM Apprenticeships: Best Practice for Inclusive Recruitment and Retention, on 9 October 2025 at UWE Bristol

If you’re a current or former apprentice, we’d love to feature your story!

Contact Shamineh Mavalvala by Friday 12 September at [email protected] to receive a submission form.
