CATCH, Leeds

We are incredibly proud of our young people at CATCH who were given the fantastic opportunity by the ECB to be flag bearers at the Women’s World Cup match at Headingley.

Despite the hot weather, they did an amazing job and represented CATCH Leeds brilliantly, proudly carrying the flags of both Pakistan and Australia in front of a packed crowd.

A huge thank you to Grace Flowers at YCF and to the ECB for making this experience possible. Opportunities like this create lasting memories, build confidence, and inspire young people to dream bigger.

Who knows? This could be the spark that encourages some of them to get involved in the beautiful game and develop a lifelong passion for cricket!

What a hardworking group of young people!

This morning they absolutely smashed it - completing a deep clean of the goat area as well as trimming every goat’s hooves. An incredible effort from everyone involved!

The animals are always our main priority, and thanks to the dedication and teamwork of these amazing young people, they’re receiving the very best care.

Well done, everyone you should all be so proud of what you achieved!

Today, several of our volunteers took on the Leeds 10K, and we were fortunate enough to bring some of our younger volunteers along to cheer them on at the finish line.

While the race itself was a fantastic achievement, the day was about much more than crossing a finish line. It was an opportunity for our young people to experience something new, step outside their comfort zones, and build confidence in unfamiliar environments.

We also travelled using public transport, helping to develop independence, responsibility, and practical life skills that will support them long into the future.

A huge well done to everyone who took part in the Leeds 10K, and a special mention to Gordons LLP, who have now raised money for CATCH through their incredible support.

What an amazing away day!

We were so lucky to have staff over from Amazon supporting us on the farm - helping clean the site, w**d the land, and get so much done together.
