Another small GRP kiosk install completed for one of our longstanding main contractors.

This time, a brand new 315A supply has been installed by UKPN. We carried out the installation of galvanised trunking with 185mm tails, running from the main cut-out to our isolator, fused down to 250A.

We also pulled in and terminated a 95mm 4-core SWA to feed the newly refurbished commercial units.

Great to be back working with a repeat client and delivering another clean, high-standard install ⚡️

Been a busy start to the year here at TAC Electrical Contractors ⚡

Alongside finishing off some projects from before Christmas and smaller jobs, we’ve been getting these two kiosks ready for UKPN to install two new 200 kVA supplies for two BNO connections

Our team has installed:
• 2 parallel runs of 200 meters of 185mm² 4-core SWA sub-mains
• 2 runs of 80 meters of 50mm² 4-core SWA sub-mains from the new BNO supply

We’re currently making off and terminating the SWAs into the isolators, getting everything ready for the next stage of the install and for UKPN to energise the new supplies.
