1st Step

Do you have an unwanted bike, scooter or spare bike parts that could be given a new lease of life? We’re collecting donations of all sizes to support 1st Step, helping people in our community build confidence, learn new skills and gain independence. Every donation can make a real difference. Collections will take place on the first Monday of each month with the first collection on afternoon of Monday 6th July. To donate, please send a photo of your donation via the 1st Step page or email [email protected]. We’ll get back to you to confirm your donation and arrange collection. Thank you for helping us support local people.
You’ll find our friendly bike shop in the Howgate Centre, Falkirk, next to Costa Coffee. We’re open Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm, and closed for lunch from 12pm–1pm. We’re also open on the first and last Saturday of each month. Pop in for a chat, browse our current stock and meet the team — we’d love to welcome you!

The recovery meeting and 1st Step Cafe @ Longcroft Hall will be closed next week - 16th June.
We only close one week a year when the Linlithgow Marches celebrations take place.
Recovery meeting & Cafe will resume as usual 23rd June.
