If you aren't recording the collective groans of your running club when you announce a hill route, are you even a run leader? 🎙️😈 (That audio is officially my new phone ringtone).

​Tonight we brought back an old classic: a double dose of Newsham Park's finest inclines! We outpaced the West Derby Road traffic, hit the world-famous bin, and conquered the Hill of Death not once, but twice! ⛰️☠️

​The complaints started rolling in on the second climb, but we are affletes, so we pushed through to the Belmont Pub. At least... most of us did. Lynn and her crew took the "short route" to a whole new level by literally jumping in a car and driving back to the center! 🚗💨 absolute legends.

​We wrapped up the night celebrating Poppy’s birthday! Pat’s Brews were flowing, Poppy brought the bakes, and a Colin the Caterpillar cake met a very grisly, smashed-up end. 🐛🍰
