💭 Did you know St Mary's Passage in Oxford is said to have inspired CS Lewis in writing 'The Chronicles of Narnia'? The faun carvings on the doorway resemble Mr Tumnus, the wooden door features a carved lion's face believed to be Aslan and the iconic lamp-post inspired the lamp-post in Narnia that symbolise the border between earth and Narnia, the lamp-post which guided Lucy when she arrives from "spare oom".
