We’ve completed our first Gateway 2 submission for a High Rise Building (HRB) this week! The design for the 2 towers, Abbey View and Munden View, owned by Housing Association Watford Community Housing Trust, includes the Retrofit of the existing structure to provide a continuous thermal envelope to all flats. Heating is to be provided by GSHP system that serves both towers and other low rise blocks nearby.

The Gateway 2 process is complex but we hope to be on site by the end of the year.

We were shortlisted for a few awards last night for individual brilliance, but we were delighted to walk away with the award for Retrofit Assessment and Coordination Services, recognition of the hard work and dedication of the full team!
