- Monday track is the best way to start your week!!
If you want to join us we train Monday and Wednesday evening at Wavertree Running Track, starting at 7pm.
All you have to do is call up 🏃🏻♂️🏃🏼🏃🏼♀️
There was supposed to be a sub 19 minute 5K PB today… but it didn’t happen!!
I’d just started my training, putting in the miles, the sessions, and the hard work. Everything was building towards today… then I broke my foot!! 🥴
For the last 7 weeks I haven’t been able to run. It was frustrating, disappointing, and not how I imagined or wanted this to go.
So today at the event at Aintree Racecourse I decided to run, have fun and collect my well deserved medal 🥇 Today was about getting back out there. Running because I love it and enjoying every step.
If you know me, you’ll know I don’t give up. Setbacks don’t stop me, they fuel me 💪🏻
Here is to the restart. The goal hasn’t changed:

Louise Griffiths took today’s session as I was at Aintree and it sounds like they all worked hard and had fun with some water guns to keep them cool.

90 seconds walking rest between each rep. Mixture of paces.
This session is excellent for improving, aerobic endurance, lactate threshold and pace control

Our Youth Programme for teens aged 13 to 17 is every Wednesday 5:45pm till 6:45pm at Wavertree Running Track.
If you have a teenager that wants to start running , or already does and wants to get faster… bring them along tomorrow!

Sunday mornings at the track:
1️⃣ 9am - Adults Beginner/New Runner Sessions.
2️⃣ 11am - Little Runners 5 to 12 years old.

This morning we were invited to the new by for a rhythmic cycling class.
Our runners loved it and it was a different type of hard 🥵
