Across the UK, people came together to share stories, host events, celebrate relationships and help more people discover Shared Lives.

From picnics and tea parties to media coverage, videos and awareness events, we've loved seeing the creativity, energy and passion of the Shared Lives community.

Most importantly, more people have heard about Shared Lives and the difference it can make.

Huge congratulations to Vicky, who has won the Making a Difference Award at the National Learning Disabilities & Autism Awards 2026.

As an ambassador for our Shared Lives for Young People Leaving Care programme, Vicky works tirelessly to promote inclusion, improve support for young people and raise awareness of Shared Lives.

We're incredibly proud of everything she has achieved and the difference she makes to so many people.
