Living 10 minutes from Wimbledon means every summer the whole area turns into strawberries, tennis whites and Wimbledon fever..

I probably won’t manage to get to Wimbledon again this year 🥲 so the next best thing felt like trying the M&S Red Diamond Strawberry & Creme Sandwich that went viral for a bit 😂

It actually launched last summer and made a comeback this year as one of those limited edition British summer things I never knew existed before moving here 😆😆

Ngl my brain was very confused about strawberries and cream in a sandwich 😭 but the soft brioche-style bread makes it feel more like cake than a sandwich. The cream is actually a whipped cream cheese and crème fraîche mix which cuts through the sweetness and honestly… I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it

The chocolate & pistachio version though which I didn’t see last year … that was definitely the winner for me and the girls 🤎🍓

For £2.80 it’s one of those “try it while it’s here for summer” things… because if there’s one thing I’ve learned about the UK, it’s that you take seasonal food very seriously 😂
