🌈 Inclusive Mental Health

Huge congratulations to Burton and District Mind for officially becoming an LGBTQ+ Safe Space through our accreditation programme! 👏

Over the past few months, they’ve worked with us at Queerify to:
✨ Deliver team-wide training
✨ Carry out a full audit of policies and practices
✨ Receive and implement recommendations
✨ Commit to continuous improvement

As a result, they’ve been awarded accreditation at the Silver level.

Now every LGBTQ+ person who reaches out to them knows they'll be respected, welcomed exactly as they are and supported without judgment 💜

In 2024, we made it our goal to do more for the LGBTQIA+ Communities. Mental health support is for everyone, and we want everyone to feel comfortable and able to come to us in times of need. This is an ongoing journey, and one we will continue working towards, but last month, we are proud to say we were awarded a Queerify Silver Award.
