We’re delighted to welcome Director of Photography Bud Gallimore Bud Gallimore to the Loop Talent roster.
 
Bud works across popular TV comedy, documentaries, commercials and music promos, with an impressive body of work spanning both scripted and unscripted projects.
 
His television credits include all three series of the acclaimed ‘Changing Ends’ for Baby Cow, alongside BBC comedies ‘Smoggie Queens’ for Hat Trick, ‘Transaction’ for Big Talk and ‘Man Like Mobeen’ for Tiger Aspect, working with directors including Dave Lambert, Andrew Chaplin and Ollie Parsons.
 
Alongside his narrative work, Bud has lensed documentaries including ‘My Dead Body’ and ‘Accused: The Fake Grooming Scandal’. His documentary experience has given him an agile and collaborative approach that he brings to every project.
 
Bud’s commercial work includes campaigns for brands such as Nestlé, Adidas and Coca-Cola, while his music credits span promos and live-performance films for artists including Ed Sheeran, Tom Grennan and Raye.

The 79th Edinburgh International Film Festival lineup has been announced and we’re excited to see work by our talented HODs.
 
‘The Incomer’ with Make Up Designer Siobhan Harper-Ryan Siobhan Harper-Ryan, directed by Louis Paxton for Pilea Pictures.
‘Extra Geography’ with 1st AD Charlie Elliot , directed by BAFTA award winning director Molly Manners for Brock Media, Film4, BFI.
‘Queen At Sea’ with Production Sound Mixer David Giles, directed by Lance Hammer for The Bureau.
 
The festival will take place from the 13th-19th August.
 

This week we spotlight editor Anna Meller

Anna has had a breakthrough year - with two of her feature films appearing at this years’ Cannes Festival in the Great 8 showcase. ‘Masc’ from director Bertil Nilson, and Shalini Adnani’s BFI backed ‘Our Share of Sand’ - both will have further festival announcements soon.

Anna is currently editing Ita Fitzgerald’s upcoming feature film ‘West The Road’ staring Imelda Staunton and produced by Stigma Films.

Anna’s TV credits include the acclaimed comedy ‘Staged’ starring David Tennant & Michael Sheen. Other TV credits include BBC3’s ‘Wannabe’ and Channel 4’s ‘We Are Lady Parts’ (as assembly editor).

Her other feature films include Jed Hart’s acclaimed debut feature ‘Restless’ and Hungarian feature films ‘Ordinary Failures’ & ‘Things Worth Weeping For’. Anna also edited Katherine Parkinson’s feature-length special ‘Sitting’ for Avalon / BBC.
