Summer face on thanks to

I am away in Rhodes all week but Fodder is in full swing with Janne and Amanda in charge. Pop in to say hello this week if you’re out and about in Hampstead.

Nic Brittin came to block printing through grief, through her mother’s sewing machine, through the need to make something real with her hands. What began as a private process became, almost accidentally, a business. And the work she has made for Fodder this summer is full of that same energy. Joyful, specific, built around the table as a place where memories get made.

Summer is loading at Fodder. is back with portrait plates and patchwork platters made for tables that see real use. .ceramics arrives for the first time with berry bowls and wine coolers fired in a gas kiln in East London. And Monday sees the launch in store of and her stellar printed linen tablecloths direct from her London studio. Three makers, one very good summer table. Landing very soon. And thats just the beginning.
