Firstly, we will be closed for a short period of time in November (more info to come.) and I do hope this post will help you prep for your purchases while we are open. I have been banging on about spending money with the small businesses and I need to reiterate it again. If we want our high street to have a heart & soul we need to go out and spend the hard-earned pound on the future we want.

Quick sneak peak at what we have been planning for Christmas. I will be shortly adding all of the products to our website for you lovely lot to browse. We have these cute Christmas drawstring bags. They are made from the old cotton tea towels and table cloths. Perfect purchase if you can't be bothered to wrap the presents. And they last a lifetime! Our Christmas stars are also made from reclaimed materials.

And lastly, we were planning to sell pre-packed Christmas pudding but quickly we realised that the majority have got a recipe passed on from the previous generation and that is something we could not ever recreate. However, we stock most of the ingredients you may need.

As we are slowly approaching September we will be switching back to our normal opening hours. I hope you have thoroughly enjoyed your summer and you are ready to come back to your refill shopping habits.

We have made some improvements on our very fragile gravity dispensers, so if you find them a bit stiff it is totally normal. However, if you are unsure how to use them we are always here to assist you. Whilst we were repairing them we phased out a few products which just weren't selling fast enough.

Any ideas what to replace them with? Please put your suggestions in the comment section.

I have ordered a few more fridge shelves. Any ideas on what to put on them?

Remember, refilling it is way easier than it seems and it is the only way to drastically reduce plastic pollution. Don’t wait up on the big corp to make the move. They are in it for the money, not nature.
