We are very pleased to announce that we have been supported by Sport England through their Open Call for Innovative Solutions. The open call was designed to find innovative solutions that were tackling the inequalities being exacerbated by the pandemic and looked to support the communities and people affected most to stay physically active.

With their support we will be developing aspects of our musculoskeletal health content and technology in order to improve our reach to those who are limited in their access to digital channels. We will therefore assist in addressing Sport England’s ‘digital exclusion’ challenge.

As a company this helps us achieve our overarching vision - to empower people with the knowledge and tools to take care of their musculoskeletal health and encourage them to lead more active lives.

We are already working with the NHS, insurance, and corporate wellbeing sectors, and now working with Sport England will expand our reach to almost everyone within the UK.

The physical health among employees now working from home is declining, with over half reporting new symptoms, especially in the neck, shoulder and back. This is based on findings from the Institute for Employment Studies (IES).

Did you know that musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions such as back pain can have a significant impact on mental health? Those living with chronic MSK conditions may be more susceptible to anxiety and depression.

We all see a large number of mental health and mindfulness solutions for companies to assist their employees with stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.

However, we don’t see many companies tackling MSK conditions even though it is a leading cause of sickness absence.

That is why we created a dedicated product, TrackActive Me, for companies to provide to their employees to help prevent MSK conditions from occurring. For those with existing MSK conditions they can be assessed via a chatbot and self-manage to recovery.
