Strategy Gate is Hiring – Risk Assessment Consultant (Project-Based)

Strategy Gate, a specialized strategy, governance, risk and HR consulting firm, is looking for a high-caliber Risk Assessment Consultant to join a strategic consulting project with one of our key clients.

Role Summary

You will work as part of a consulting team to identify, assess and prioritize organizational risks, and to develop practical risk treatment plans and monitoring mechanisms that support informed decision-making and organizational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct enterprise-wide and departmental risk assessments (strategic, operational, financial, compliance, reputational, etc.).

Develop and maintain risk registers, risk heat maps and risk profiles.

Facilitate risk workshops and interviews with key stakeholders and process owners.

Analyze likelihood and impact, and propose risk treatment options (avoid, reduce, transfer, accept).

Define and document Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and reporting mechanisms.

Align risk management practices with international frameworks (e.g. ISO 31000, COSO ERM) and local regulations.

Prepare professional risk reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management and boards.

Support integration of risk management with governance and compliance (GRC) where applicable.

Candidate Profile

5+ years of experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, or related consulting fields.

Proven participation in risk assessment or ERM consulting projects.

Strong knowledge of risk frameworks and methodologies (ISO 31000, COSO ERM, risk scoring, scenarios, stress testing, etc.).

Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal); Arabic is an advantage.

Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation and presentation skills.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines.

Relevant professional certifications (e.g. GRCP/GRCA, CRM, IRM, CIA, CFA, FRM, PMP) are a plus.

Assignment Details

Type: Project-based consulting assignment

Duration: To be agreed based on project scope

Location: Onsite / hybrid / remote depending on project needs
