We are calling on the community to WRITE TO ISLINGTON COUNCILLORS requesting that the decision is 'called in' to ensure it is fully reviewed. They have until 2nd August to call in the decision.

Come and join our peaceful protest outside Islington Town Hall at 6PM. This is our last chance to save Sobell Ice Rink! Bring banners, wear your jerseys, let's make some noise!
This is not just about ice skating, this is about future generations of sports people lost. We are at risk of losing an inclusive and accessible sports hub that has brought together people of all ages, abilities, and ethnicities in a welcoming environment for half a century. Sport has major benefits in taking negative activity away from the streets. Without the Sobell ice rink, future generations will not have access to the same sporting opportunities that we had.
