19/04/26; running the London marathon for next Sunday and have basically finished my training which is bizarre cos I still get dead puffed out ❤️ honestly this training has been almost as hard as being a sissy at a catholic state comp in the north west in the noughties - but as they say life is a marathon not a race. And I survived high school with an incredible sense of humour and unstoppable star power so? 🤷‍♀️

The best bit has been running thru London and seeing so many amazing things. People, birds, very s*xy runners. I nearly got hit by a car or a bus 11 times, and my feet bled 6 separate times. I fell once, I wept almost every long run, and I am still only 1/3 through Liza’s autobiography. This morning when I was doing my warmup Mr. Singh who feeds the birds in Clapton every morning asked if I wanted help getting the birds to “jump” with me - so I said yes, and here is the result. It’s not my best side, but the birds look amazing. I love them. Sometimes when it’s hard to run I’ll see a little goose chomping some London street crap and I’ll feel so much love for that lil queen who flies south every year, it helps me keep going.

Mostly I love Positive East and the crucial work they do for so many of us. I’m a proud patron, a proud marathon runner and will proudly be hanging up my running shoes for eternity come next Monday. But before that there’s still time to dig deep and give me fives, give me tens cos it’s my dream (if anyone gets the song reference in that last sentence I will send YOU a fiver).

Love you. So proper blessed to be able to see the city like this, to use my body like this, to live on a planet with birds!!, to have somehow gone from someone who would take a bus two stops up a hill to now running 42km. Big love. Link to donate en biographie # #
