🛟 Night shift crew rescue a stricken seagull 🛟

Yesterday evening, while on exercise, our night crew spotted a couple of people on the shoreline trying to help a distressed seagull.

The crew, Buzz, Nathan and Asher, successfully retrieved the bird and brought it back to station where it was soon collected by an expert to be treated.

That counts as a life saved, right? 😉

In all seriousness – please don’t enter the Thames to help an animal or bird – the currents are strong, and there are a lot of snags sub-surface, so you could quickly find yourself in danger. If in doubt call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
