This age is HARD.
But equally, it's absolutely incredible.
The full sentences.
The tantrums on the sun going behind a cloud, the fact her socks aren't pulled up.
The opinions on clothes, food, literally anything.
The potty training.
The Whys (so many!)
The 'Thank Yous' that are said from genuine appreciation.
Trying to be a 'gentle parent' and wondering if I can raise my voice to actually be heard.
The tiny person that's growing up in front of my very eyes.
This age is hard, but good things never come easy, right?
Photo dump from trip to , because getting out of the house is always a good idea!

2.5 years of Olive
And 0.5 years since O decided only she could dress herself...
May she forever stick to being her unique self ❤️
Swipe right for some style icon moments of the past few months (need a gallery to fit every one in). Thought I'd start the gallery with a shot from from my sister's wedding

6️⃣ years of
I used to have a little celebration for every work anniversary as I feel it's important to celebrate your achievements.
(Celebration still pending as I'm currently writing this 6 weeks late and March has been a whirlwind!)
I guess, like for most people, 3 of those 6 years have just disappeared into a blur. This is all thanks to two being the pandemic, followed by the fastest year ever as "the world got back to normal".
6 years ago, I made the decision to hand in my notice at , a year after qualifying as a PT.
In those 12 months prior, I trained a few clients before/after work to build up confidence, but the reality for me was that I had to just jump so I was forced into making a new career path work.
I could go on about why I changed careers but that's already in a blog post on my website somewhere.
It's crazy to think that at school we're taught to choose a career that we think we'll like, yet the person we are at 16-18 is very different from the person I am now.
Truth be told though, I wouldn't be where I am now had I not taken those steps/path I did.
I was lucky enough to have as my business coach almost 4 years ago. I remember she said to me about how at the time, a lot of what we do doesn't make sense, but looking back, the dots connect.
💭 The stint in advertising.
🫂 The people I've met: Charlie, friends, my team at , the people who supported and inspired me, faces who seemed to pop up again further down the line with a role and more.
🤯 The curve balls thrown my way.
🤷🏻♀️ The opportunities that didn't seem like them at time.
🫒 The timing of Olive.
🥺 How lockdown made me feel as a first time mum.
The list could go on.
For now, I'm incredibly grateful that the path I've chosen seems to be leading somewhere (despite quite a few uphill hikes to get there!)
to first 12 months of a girl starting out as a personal trainer back in March 2017. A huge thank you to everyone who entrusted me with their fitness journey to help me with mine

So that's the story behind camping, the gym, food & drink.
Now it's time for the story behind events (which will explain this random shot of 's trainers)
After ending the year with , we thought we'd take it back to how on earth our journey with events has ended up with PoorBoys being here.
Randomly, it started with Em's leopard print trainers.
She was wearing them on (one of her many) visits to and got chatting to the owner Nick, who had seen her tag them on instagram from a previous visit.
Nick then came to check out in our very early days of 2020 and for a chat
Nick at then introduced us to Daniel Britten]
Daniel Britten] was the incredible guy behind our first pop-up restaurant, Fire & Feast in the lockdown days with Olive's Tipi
It was so popular that we did another one, Fire & Feast II, in October 2021
gave us a call after seeing the Deep South Vibes of the pop-up and wanted to chat
A few months later, the first pop-up happened.
And then a year later, it happened again!
So, that's the story behind this random pair (of fabulous) leopard print trainers
