Six years ago, I had the incredible privilege of co-planning and co-directing a remarkable bespoke 360-degree music video for the british artist Youngr, where I also served as the Director of Photography (DOP) and oversaw the post-production. This project, undertaken during my time at MelodyVR, was both ambitious and demanding.

Youngr's unique musical approach, recording all instruments individually and looping them, presented us with a distinctive challenge. To achieve a fully immersive 360 experience, we meticulously recorded him seven times and seamlessly stitched the footage together. To cater to our specific requirements, I personally assembled a custom rig that allowed us to capture the footage flawlessly.

The end result was a visually stunning 360 video, adorned with a myriad of captivating lights and shadows, designed to enthrall viewers with each subsequent viewing. Those shoots were truly extraordinary, and I often find myself yearning for similar opportunities.
However, I am optimistic that the advent of the new Apple VR headset, the , will open up a multitude of fresh prospects for me to explore and create compelling content in the near future.

A big mix of sun and clouds in northern Germany today, constantly changing. It even looks more like spring than winter but we cannot change this.
