Thames Rowing Club

Thames kicked Spring racing off strong yesterday at Wallingford, taking the win in the Women’s Challenge 8+, the Men’s Challenge 4+, the Men’s Club 4+, and the Women’s Club 4+.

The squad showed depth with 6 crews gathering silver and bronze in finals.

Yesterday the club colours flew with Thames racing 8 crews at HORR, placing 5 boats in the top 30!

We’ve heard everyone’s dying to know and so TRC’s SOCCOM is proud to announce this years theme for the HoRR afterparty:

Think Knights in shining armour, fairytales, dragons and such. Think things that are in Shrek, but like not Shrek. Or do, we don’t care 🤷‍♂️

You can expect:

🔴 - Free Entry till 6pm
⚪️ - DJ (yes, he’ll play Poundtown)
⚫️ - Food available all afternoon

The bar will be open all afternoon for those who wish to spectate with food on offer for anyone hungry post racing too!

What a day at for Thames!

The club proudly rowed 6 eights at the regatta, placed 3 boats in the top 10, and claimed the Senior Pennant!
