Today, Benedict’s Law has received Royal Assent. His Majesty's clerks announced the King has granted his assent for The Children's Wellbeing and Schools Act during the prorogation of parliament.

From an idea born out of loss, to something written into law — this moment means everything.

It means allergy safety is no longer guidance or expectation. It is the law, for every school, for every child.

We are so grateful to everyone who stood with us, believed in this, and helped carry it forward — from campaigners and clinicians to parliamentarians across both Houses.

Nothing will ever change what happened to Benedict. But today, his name will help protect other children.

And that is something we will carry with us forever.
