NEW: DaVinci Resolve 21.0.2 update is out. Here's whats been improved and added:

• Improved image switching performance when bypassing Color or Fusion effects. When using image processing bypass to compare before and after looks, thumbnails are no longer regenerated so switching stays fast and responsive.
• H.265 playback performance on NVIDIA GPUs in DaVinci Resolve Studio has also been improved - making scrubbing through these clips noticeably smoother when editing.
• Better text display when spell check is enabled, making it easier to edit and proofread Text+ titles.

DaVinci Resolve 21.0.2 Update is now available for download!

This update improves image switching performance when bypassing Color or Fusion effects. When using image processing bypass to compare before and after looks, thumbnails are no longer regenerated so switching stays fast and responsive.

This update also improves H.265 playback performance on NVIDIA GPUs in DaVinci Resolve Studio, making scrubbing through these clips noticeably smoother when editing. This means editors working with long H.265 clips, such as drone or action camera footage, can review and edit projects more efficiently.

In addition, this update improves text display when spell check is enabled, making it easier to edit and proofread Text+ titles.

I had a chance to get my hands-on the new ZEISS AATMA full-frame lenses (thank you Zeiss UK) and they are definitely not what I expected from a Zeiss lens. delivering RAW support for the latest mirrorless cameras alongside workflow
improvements and enhanced system performance.

This free firmware update expands Apple ProRes RAW recording compatibility to three
new cameras, giving even more filmmakers access to high-quality RAW workflows with
Atomos monitor-recorders.

New Camera Support
AtomOS 12.7.0 adds ProRes RAW recording support for:
• Sony α7R VI
• Canon EOS R6 V
• Leica SL3-P

For Sony α7R VI users, the update also introduces camera filename matching during
RAW recording, making media management faster and more intuitive throughout post-
production.

Greater Workflow Control
To give users more flexibility when working with Camera to Cloud, AtomOS 12.7.0
introduces a new option to disable C2C uploads while recording. This allows
productions to prioritise recording performance when required, while still taking
advantage of cloud workflows whenever they’re needed.

Improved Performance & Compatibility
The update also includes several important reliability improvements, including:
• Enhanced compatibility with a wider range of CFexpress Type B media.
• A fix for UHD-to-HD output downscaling at 23.98 and 24 fps, ensuring accurate
monitoring across more production environments.
