💧 Would you risk climbing into a deep pit just to collect water for your family?

For the people of Mogbanka Community, Kargboro Chiefdom, this is the reality they face every day.

During our recent WASH assessment, we witnessed community members carefully descending into an unsafe water source to collect water for drinking, cooking, and daily household needs. What should be a basic necessity has become a daily struggle and a serious safety risk.

No one should have to put their health or safety at risk simply to access water.

These images remind us why the need for safe, reliable water sources remains so urgent. Together, we can help communities like Mogbanka move from hardship to hope.

💧 Completion of the water distribution works in the village of Cabame, Guinea-Bissau.

A major milestone has been reached as the installation of the water distribution network nears completion, bringing clean water closer to homes across the community.

Access to safe water is about more than convenience. It improves health, reduces the time spent collecting water, and creates opportunities for families to focus on education, livelihoods, and community development.

We look forward to seeing the positive impact this project will have on the people of Cabame for years to come.
