We're thrilled to welcome Mark to our Engineering team!

Mark joined Netcel in January this year as Solutions Architect. Mark is recognised for his deep Optimizely expertise as a Platinum Technology OMVP (Optimizely Most Valuable Professionals). And if that's not impressive enough, Mark is the brains behind two Optimizely AddOns which are used across multiple Optimizely customer solutions. Before diving into the agency realm, Mark honed 17 years of software delivery expertise, and created the UK's first integrated HR and Payroll web solution.

At Netcel, Mark excels in collaborating with clients to maximise their investments, aligning technology seamlessly with their business visions, and crafting solutions for even the most challenging integration scenarios on Optimizely.

Outside of work, Mark is passionate about Ceroc (Modern Jive) and in 13 years, went from a beginner - to Demoing with the teacher, and is now a DJ for Ceroc’s freestyle nights around Yorkshire! He's also an avid rollerskater, drawn into the sport through Roller Derby and Roller Discos.

Mark is not just a tech whiz but a true enthusiast in everything he does!

Sweet success! 🍰 Last week Netcel hosted an Easter-themed cake sale and raffle which raised an impressive £454 for our company charity Samaritans. Bringing our total fundraising efforts up to £8,062! 💚

A huge thank you to all the talented bakers at Netcel, whose delicious bakes made the event a resounding success. We’re also extremely grateful to all the generous individuals who contributed to our cause by purchasing cakes and participating in the raffle.

At Netcel, we've always prioritised employee wellbeing, and this year, we're taking it up a notch with our comprehensive well-being program. We kicked off the program with a motivational session led by Rachel Grimwood, which focused on resilience-building strategies and the importance of pausing to recalibrate our goals. Empowering our team to take control of their outcomes and thrive in the year ahead.

We introduced ‘The Hour of Power’, encouraging our team to take lunchtime walks – this not only promotes physical health but also enhances mental clarity and creativity. It's amazing what a breath of fresh air can do!

Of course, our Wellbeing Wednesdays and Stressbusters massages will continue, offering a breakfast buffet in the office every Wednesday and quarterly massage sessions to help the team melt away tension and promote relaxation.

At Netcel, wellbeing isn't just a buzzword; it's ingrained in our culture. We're committed to fostering a supportive environment where each member of our team can thrive personally and professionally. Here's to prioritising wellness and achieving greatness, one step at a time!
