As part of our campaign, we’re proud to spotlight the incredible work of Huntly Sports Trust - a local organisation transforming access to sport, fitness and wellbeing for people of all ages.

Thanks to the Clashindarroch Wind Farm Community Fund (alongside support from local partners), Huntly Sports Trust has completely transformed its outdated all-weather pitch into a modern, energy-efficient and fully accessible sports hub.

Now in daily use by local schools, rugby clubs, youth teams and athletes, the upgraded facility features:

✅ FIFA-approved 3G surface
✅ Modern LED floodlighting
✅ Open 7 days a week to the whole community.

Backed by the Community Benefit Fund linked to Clashindarroch Wind Farm and supported by Vattenfall, this project shows how renewable energy investment can help create inclusive spaces, strengthens wellbeing and supports long-term community regeneration.

Because it’s not just about generating energy, it’s about empowering people.
