This is the very first thing I ask my clients for when I'm building their brand… and yet... I hadn’t done it myself.

What is that all about?!

You know I'm far from shy. Put me in a room full of strangers and I'll make friends for life BUT put me in front of a camera and suddenly all sorts of unexpected emotions show up.

Why does having our photo taken feel so exposing?

And yet, it really matters.

Your brand photo is the first introduction someone has to you. Before they read your words or understand what your offer - they see you. Your image quietly communicates confidence, credibility, warmth and professionalism. It tells potential clients what it might feel like to work with you.

So here’s me taking my own advice!

If you’ve been putting off updating your brand photography, consider this your gentle nudge. Visibility is part of leadership - even when it feels a little uncomfortable.

What a year it’s been… a lot of highs and a lot of lows… It’s been another amazing year of work thanks to my friends in Television, music also new and repeated businesses. The loss of mum, even though expected was still a shock to the system; a reminder of how precious our lives are and to make sure we do what makes us happy everyday. Next year I wish for continued rewarding work, building relationships with the community through my charity work and for everyone to find happiness. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas with the ones you love ❤️
