DaisyPopsDesigns - Invitations by Tracey Jacobs

Many of you will be aware that I am no longer making stationery
and my final functions took place last weekend. This morning I delivered my last set of thank you cards.

I am feeling very emotional about this, and would like to say a huge.... massive.... ENORMOUS thank you to everybody who has used me for their stationery since I started up my business all those years ago!

I am so very proud of everything I have achieved and I have loved making all of your stationery and bringing your wonderful ideas to life.
I have a lovely portfolio of work that I can look back on with fond memories for years to come.

I would also like to thank my family for putting up with me and my messy office for so long. Kids, you may have the nice tidy office space for your homework now (yippee!).
One last thanks and credit must go to Howard (my hubby) for thinking up THE best strapline for my Manchester United Football Programme invite for twin boys' Bnai Mitzvah (see photo) - and yes every so often he likes to remind me how good it was! He can proudly say that he thought of "Men United" a good few years before it was used for a massive charity campaign (a very worthy cause also deserving of such a brilliant strapline).

Finally, just for fun, because I do love making lists, I have compiled a timeline of "DaisyPopsDesigns firsts" which some of you may find interesting (or boring!) and I've attached a small selection of some of my favourite themes. It's a shame I can't post more, but I'd be here forever since I only ever made invites that I loved!

This was a project I worked on in 1989 during my HND in graphic design. It wasn't one of my most successful projects and I remember really struggling to capture that iconic image using just pen and markers, nevertheless i really loved working on it! I'm sure it helped having the Faith album blasting through my Walkman at the time! Happier days remembered as another legend passes away 😞. RIP George.

We just had the most amazing weekend celebrating with our friends. It was the perfect way to end our summer holidays!
I would like to make it clear that I am not affiliated with any particular party/event planners and i don't pay or receive commissions for recommendations, it's just not how i like to work. But i will happily recommend people in the party business who I find to be both lovely to deal with, and professional too.
This weekend's function was organised by Idit at Dash of Sparkle - Wedding/Event Planning and Venue Styling, catering by Cohen Mazal, and entertainment by Alex Rendezvous All of these people/businesses were superb, and I would highly recommend them to customers, family and friends who might be making a function in the future!
Oh, and stationery by yours truly of course! ;-)
